Builders of Hope is a national authority on Extreme Green Rehab and uses a number of cutting edge green techniques in the construction of its homes including spray foam insulation, low to no VOC paints and adhesives, rain barrels for irrigation, and energy-efficient windows. Our homes feature hardwood and tile floors, large front porches, brand new kitchens, custom cabinetry, superior indoor air quality, Energy Star appliances, and drought-tolerant landscaping.
With the housing crisis still a reality for so many, Builders of Hope is committed to providing homes that are affordable to home buyers across the Southeast. We work with our buyers to help them gain access to reputable financial programming and credit counseling to help them realize their goals of homeownership in a responsible, sustainable manner. However, BOH goes a step further by working diligently to get our clients access to as many financial resources as possible– including City second funds, FHLB grants, New Homes Loan Pool (NHLP) resources, and down payment assistance through NCHFA. Our nonprofit organization is also able to provide its own financial support as a HUD approved mortgagor in the form of seller financing and closing cost assistance. We do everything possible to make an affordable home even more economical.
In addition to protecting our environment, our community amenities are geared towards improving the lives of our residents. Our organization is committed to bridging the digital divide and empowering our residents through access to technology. As a result, all our homes for sale come equipped with free computers. Most of our communities also provide free or low-cost wireless Internet service for all our residents. BOH is dedicated to providing our residents access to all the benefits of broadband: mobile banking, e-health services, and education.
